I thought domestic abuse happened to other people, not me. I have two master’s degrees. I’m a technology teacher with more than 15 years of experience and was a leader in my church. I believed the stereotypes, but the day my face hit the glass of my apartment storm door my opinion changed. My name is Donna Wayles, I’m an author, speaker, teacher, and domestic violence survivor. I’m here to share my story of God’s grace in second chances and to inspire you to help someone else who may find themselves in my position.
